If you want quality audio, avoid wireless speakers or connections. Your best bet is to have an electrician install wires for your speakers in the walls, or you can use the wall/floor mounted channels used to conceal electric wiring. If some of your speakers are free-standing, you can't avoid some wire exposure. Speaker wire is also available in flat, ribbon-like configuration that can run under carpets and rugs.

lowes and home depot both carry the cable covers. It is basically just a track that you mount to the wall that has a cover that snaps on it.
