Think about what you would want him to say to you if the situation was the other way around. How would you feel if you had been the one busted?
I got busted when my grandparents walked in while I was with another girl. My grandmother made a joke about it... She was like... "is this what we call BUSTED?!?"
Don't make a huge deal about it. Talk to him. If it was in the living room, tell him that you would appreciate it if he did that sort of thing in his space and that you will do the same. ..... Who REALLY wants to sit on a sticky couch any how?!?

Your living situation wasn't made very clear. Are you in a college dorm, apartment, house, what? If your in a dorm, maybe the two of you can agree to hang a "do not disturb" sign on the door when one of you is "entertaining" someone. In a house or apartment, you can ask him to please try to "entertain" in his bedroom so that there will be no chance of you walking in on him in the future. And if either of you know ahead of time that you'll be bringing someone home, make arrangements for the other roommate to be gone from the house, dorm, apartment, for a while.
good luck.

Why do you have to say anything?
What would you expect him to say if he walked in on you in bed with a chick?
Nothing is usually best in these situations. Let him do the talking if he feels funny about it.
Either way, you should knock first.
Your bad, dude.

Was he is his own room?
Just tell him that your okay with everything, but just like if it were a straight guy, do what your gunna do behind closed doors? Unless he was just kissing him. Theres nothing wrong with that really.. come on.. If you wouldn't get freaked out over a guy and a girl.. If you would.. then tell him to go away for that too. haha
I think its cute.

Where was he and his friend? If they were in his room, then it is no issue, as it is his room, and he can do whatever wants in there!
If they were in a public area of the house, then you could just ask him if he wanted to do things with his partner, could they do it in the privacy of his own room...

What if your roommate was straight, you would tell him to do the hanky panky in his bedroom, so tell your gay roommate the same thing. If you don't feel comfortable with a gay roommate, then you need to get out of your apartment rental agreement with your landlord and move somewhere else.

You should say whatever you would have said in the same situation if it would of been a girl he was with. Anything from, "Sorry Dude, didn't mean to walk in on you" to "I find your lax moral actions appalling and can't abide them in my house" is acceptable, as long as it is the same reaction a heterosexual in the same situation would get.

It depends on how you feel about that. There's absolutely nothing wrong with him being a homosexual. However, he should have let you in on that little bit of info before you just walked in a got that little suprise.

If he was in his bedroom, say nothing. If he was in a common living area, talk to him about using the bedroom in cae you have someone with you next time
