when i was 7 i had a stepdad and he beat and made fun of me and the worst thing her did was ....... well he raped me and i still have nightmares about it and im 17 my mom did end up leaving him when i was about 11 ! and i resently heard that he died because he drank him self to death and i am happy. does that make me a bad person

No, it doesn't make you a bad person. It makes you an angry person. Or it means you feel relief. Did you get counseling to deal with the abuse? If not, I truly suggest you do. I am sorry you had to live through those horrible things. God bless you!

Dear, I think, you should ask your mother to take you to a psychologist. You have to get all "those garbage" out of your mind, before you can lead a healthy and fruitful life!
I do not believe that he "raped" you while you were 7. At that age, you would not know what rape is, and it would be just a technical impossibility. It is very common for many, many boys and girls in the age group of 5-10, to "hate" their step father, every which way possible. They do not like to replace their real fathers' image, with a stranger called step father.

This individual raped your when you were 7, you're are entitled to feel happy about his dying.
However, you might want to try and put it behind you.
I believe in karma, meaning all the bad you make will somehow, someday come back to you. See, he raped you and now he drank himself to his death....
The bill already came and he had to pay up big time!!!!

Maybe now that he is gone and you know he can't hurt you anymore your nightmares will stop. As far as being a bad person, no, I don't think so. I think all rapists should rot in hell. I'm happy he's dead too.
