From description of the ceremony, it sound a lot like Russian Orthodox (Christian) ceremony. I'm not sure what would you consider traditional dress for Russian wedding - they have been changing approximately every other sentury , so depending on the century, it was different. I believe it is also true for Armenia - depending how far in history you want to go, the answer will be different.
