Can anyone tell me what happened to Neo in the very end of Matrix Revolutions ?
He seems to be dead but .....

If you die in the Matrix you die in real life. He sacrificed himself in the Matrix killing his body but releasing his conciousness back into the Matrix as well as Smith's programming turn them into subroutines of the programs the Oracle and the Architect. this is why when asked "Will we see Neo again?", it is the Oracle that answers "There's no telling..." The fact is that Neo is the choice part of the system and Smith is the logic part of the system. They are in a continual struggle to stay in charge of the system.

After saving the real world from Agent Smith. The main computer just unplgged itself from Neo and he was left lying on top of the floating computer with the computer's appendeges observing him.
The movie had an open-ended ending. It's up to us to make our own conclusions.

He is definitely dead. This movie had some Christian undertones in it and Neo was meant to be a martyr in order to save others. He was meant to die in order to save mankind.
