Hello,

Your friend must visit the US embassy from the country in which she resides, and apply for a travel visa. Be aware, that it is a difficult process, and even though she is your friend and you have apparently "invited" her to visit the US, it is not that easy any longer. There are a whole host of steps she must go through, including the reason for travel, and where does she obtain the money to pay for the cost including visa fees, immunization, travel tickets, where she will stay upon arrival. Another issue,. is if they do not perceive that she has a viable reason for returning to her country, i.e. a steady reliable credible job (not just a trader for example), she will likely be denied.

I would like to caution you, though, that if your friend is one that you've met strictly through the internet, you should be aware that you may be the target of a con. I have, even within the past 3 months, been emailed from no less than 6 people in the US with "friends" from here in Ghana who apparently have falsified their personal data in the hopes that someone would send them money from the US. All asked my opinion, and it is the same as I offer you, tread carefully. In one instance, a young man befriended a girl who claimed she was white, from Australia living with her parents in Ghana... she asked for nothing at first, then needed money for a new cell phone, which was stolen, then her mother was sick, and needed money for that as well and asked if he'd send it by Western Union. I suggested to the American that he ask his friend to visit an internet cafe wtih web came set-ups (many have them here), but she refused saying it was too far from where she lived. She went so far as to provide her picture, her name and a copy of her "passport." The pictuer showed a very pretty white girl in one all dressed up, and the passport was the same girl, without makeup. Looked like a before and after picture from a magazine, to me. As it turned out, all the information she offered was false, a google search for her name showed a very attractive black Ghanaian woman with the same name, birthdate, etc at an internet dating site. Please, do be careful.

Good luck,

Barb

a superb form of English people earlier emigrated to SA. South Africa is a sunny usa - climate clever.... the challenge is that paintings is constrained. earlier deprived people (from time to time unqualified) do get the paintings over white people. i'd recommend which you first get paintings in SA earlier you stop your existence in England. although, i think of extra people from SA emigrated recently to England than any incorrect way around. colleges at the instant are not that undesirable, yet we do in some situations have violence in our colleges to boot. Crime is everywhere in the international, yet i think of that SA have little bit extra beneficial than maximum different international places.

Well I am in the U.K. & shortly will be going through the same thing but with slight differences, what you have to remember in these circumstances is the culture shock & how people will react with what you are planning to do.Which part of Africa are you talking about? always remember that, "The Benefits Outweigh The Problems" there will be many & depending where you want to start perhaps, it would be better if you want to to email me first, before deciding to dive headlong into this.

make your friend ask in the US embassy by herself this is the most sure way to get the right infromations, or throught the embassy internet website, but for both of you, IT IS VER VERY DIFFICULT to get what you wants to have...
wish you good luck..
