Hm... okay so i got this assignment for English class about: if i would start my own government, what would be the main idea? For example: "the main idea in my society is... (And then invinte one like ...>> freedom, peace, sports, happiness, music, or even fashion) "All the above options were already picked by others... Any other ideas? i just can't think of any intersting ones.. Please help!! Thanks :)

thanks everybody. I have decided to write about a secure, safe, free of gangs enviroment... now i got to make rules for them.. what could be good ideas? i aready put :
1: Everybody will have to take defense classes beginning of age six for free.
#2: Everybody is allowed to drive from age fourteen.
#3: Nobody is allowed to walk down the streets by themselves after 12 o’clock unless you have a car or in a group of at least four.
#4: children should NOT walk by themselves in early morning or afternoons.

The preamble to the Constitution sets out the purposes of the government.
"We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."
You could do a lot worse than analysing that in a paper.

Here's a good one
A government that questions why a singer/ writer/ actor is paid forever for, while pleasing,but by comparison, a totally useless item while the man who builds your house, the heating and plumbing and electrician( truly needed things) are paid only once.

What about art- I mean that everyone enjoys reading poetry, and all theater performances are free, and if a person wants to get a book or cd then they are free too. Musicians, writers and actors are all subsidized by the gov't so that all people can express their creativity without needing to pay actors or find fincancial backers and such...

That is what we are supposed to have now, but.....
Do you know how many people don't have health insurance? Do you realize that the way our elections are set up that with the electoral college, one presidential candidate can receive more votes than the other, country wide, and still lose the election by the electoral college? It would be nice for equality to be a reality in our government!
