Never heard it before. Congrats on the grand daughter. I hope they go with CJ or Jenna. Not crazy about Carys.
I've seen Carrie, Carri, Kerry, but why the S on the end?

I've heard it before, but it doesn't seem to be terribly popular. That's what Catherine Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas named their child, right? Anyway, it's a Welsh name. It comes from the Welsh word for "love" I believe.

I have heard of it spelt both ways although I prefer it with a K. I believe it is Welsh in origin.
