In the late 1960's or early 1970's; we had a backyard merry go round that was operated by the 4 seats riders pushing and pulling with feet and hands to make it rotate. I would like to know what it was called and a possible manufacturer so I might find a used/refurbished or remake for my kids.

I was trying to research the same memory outdoor toy for my grandkids. Yes, I used to ride on it for hours at my cousin's place. Try antique dealers. I was told that if any existed they would be rusty. I did find a site with daycare outdoor stuff, but the dealer said he quit with the item. I cannot blame him at $1000 a piece. Just think, at the time they went for about $29.95 at David Weiss outlets!
