Wait until after you have kids - you may not be able to breastfeed if you have the surgery. Also, many women complain of loss of sensation for quite some time after the surgery - sometimes it's permanent. And it's extremely painful.
I'm in the same boat as you, dear. Have had boobs since 3rd grade (I'm 23 now), and I simply can't stand them anymore. Teased all throughout school by girls because I was so large-chested, hit on by guys who were only interested in one thing. It's not fun. But wait til you're older - heh, then you can get them lifted while you're at it.

Your age is important too. During the teen years there is a lot more hormones that cause the breasts to swell a lot more, they often adjust themselves in the early 20's. Most of the time they get a bit smaller after having a baby too. It would be wise to consult with two plastic surgeons as there are a lot of different factors to consider.
A properly fitted bra by a professional should alleviate some of the back pain. Your family history has a lot to do with it too, so take at look at the females in your family and think hard before you do anything that nature might take care of.

Honey...if your back is hurting all the time, maybe reduction can help you. If you reduce to a c cup, you shouldn't have any problems. I'm a d cup (had them lifted but not enhanced or reduced) and no back problems for me. Maybe there are some back exercises that may help.

If you are having back problems, you might want to talk to a doctor about getting breast reduction. You could feel a lot better and it's not like they are going to turn you into an A cup anyways! You'll still have big breasts just not painfully so. Good luck!

The choice is a better bra or a reduction. I know several women ( ages 18- 65) that have had it done. Not one has regretted it.
My mother, who was always large busted 42 D, after losing both breasts to cancer, opted to have her prosthetic breasts made smaller. She said it made a difference of the pressure on her back.

Having big boobs may seem nice to some people, but they don' see the burden it brings- like in finding clothes that wouldn't make you look slutty- and the back ache that you experience. I think breast reduction is best. Look at Drew Barrymore. She also had a reduction. It is for your health.

If your back is hurting you that bad, I would get it done. You will feel better in the long run after it's over.

If they are causing back pain, then either better support or reduction. Try better support first. If that doesn't work, then get them down to a size that is comfortable for you.

I am not so sure in your case, but I know that wives who desire to get rid of excess boobs usually go to a divorce lawyer instead of plastic surgeons.....
