I think it depends on what kind of beauty you're talking about. Most think about physical beauty, and that, I think is fleeting and the wrong thing on which to put emphasis. But I think beauty is so much more. One might think about a person's inner beauty as more important which is true. However, I think a step further is a person's ability to behold beauty. This differs for each person and thus, we cannot actually put it in precise terms for everyone. Still, a person's ability to behold beauty is much more important than the characteristics of the object of beauty. I know there are those who find a computer beautiful while to others it is just a piece of machinery. A certain painting may be beautiful to some while not to others. Take this ability away and life is not much at all. So in that aspect, yes, I think beauty is extremely important - the ability to behold something beautiful.

I do think beauty is important in the inside but not in the outside, doesn't matter where your from, what you look like, it's more important in the inside then the outside.

it depends on the people's views some like physical beauty and some like the beauty of your heart ,intelligence and your will to do some work

I think so yes, but am of the opinion that far more importance should be placed on intelligence.

in todays age, in our society, beauty is a huge factor in our lives. there are different kinds of beauty, but it is important to have some kind of beauty in you - physical, spiritual, or inner-beauty (compassion, kindness, goodness)
