2 weeks ago and Got a weird period last week. I just recently had a D&C surgery in August. I have not been feeling well. Just tired alot, Nauseous everytime I eat. Loss of appetite. Back hurts. I haven't had a normal period in about 1 year. That was the reason for the D&C. So I am not even sure if what I am feeling is a reaction to that with my 1st period after. Not sure??? But I guess my concerns are is it too early 4 a home pregnancy test? Too early for a Blood test with my Obgyn??? And getting that light period an indication that I am not?? I have more pointing to no, but I still feel weird??? I am just a confused 26 year who feels so immature about this situation right now???

With every medical procedure comes (I guess what you would call) side effects. These feelings you have been having may be associated with your D&C. If I were you I would contact your OB and explain how you have been feeling and what is going on with your body. Even if you feel like you need to, schedule an appointment with him/her just to talk. They may want to do an exam just to make sure everything is ok in there. Also, it is not abnormal for a woman to have spotting in the very early stages of pregnancy. There are so many possibilities, that I would contact your OB. Hope this helps.

Wow the Some people on here are mean...
She said she was confused???

but anyways I have had an D&C...Just calm down and go to your doctor, explain what you are feeling and no taking a blood test is not too early to detect if you are with child. But honestly I think it has to do with the procedure. I had similar symtoms.

Good Luck!!!! I am sure you will be ok .

I really feel like screaming. Do you people never bother to read any of the previous questions asked on yahoo answers? This has to be the 500th time I have seen this exact same question listed here.

If you are really so confused and can't figure out on your own something as simple as going to the doctor to make sure... well, I don't know what to tell you.

Sorry if that was mean, it probably was, but cmon, you're 26 and don't know to go to a doctor?

I would look over the discharge papers they provided you. The md/nurse should have told you what to expect in the weeks afterwards. If you are unsure call your doctor
