Sounds like the evening news... they tell me what they want me to know even though I don't want to know about it.
Really, how does my life change by knowing that a sick twisted man killed childreen in an Amish school ... 4,000 miles away from me??? It breaks my heart, and I'd be a better person if I didn't hear that ... but for some reason (addiction I suspect), I keep turning on the news and inviting evil into my house. I fear if I don't clue into the news, then I'll miss somthing that will change my life.

Think of those bitter medicines that are taken inside, that's what needed, but can not be taken in becuse of bitterness ... probably use water, not to feel the bitterness or use the sugar coating so that to enjoy eating even the bitterness... and some even enjoy bitterness as such, so the effectiveness of medicine is more ther ... all depend on attitudes and tastes within ... think of a pig which eats even the sh*t very tastily ....
