My "best friend" well he lies to me all the time. He has interferred with my relationship because he doesn't like my boyfriend. Now he is actually destroying himself at work but yet he thinks that i am falling for all the lies that he is telling me constantly. He lies all the time and i have tried to say something to him but whenever he asks like what im completely at a dead end. I honestly don't want to be friends with him anymore i don't know how to tell him. He's constantly lying to me though, how could anyone be freinds with someone who continuously lies i can't do it anymore he's been lying to me for 9 1/2 years and he says so much about other people that i wonder what he says about me. Me and my boyfriend are still going strong so thats not the issue. Im just wondering how to tell him that he needs to quit lying without sounding like a b*tch and i want to make sure im not wrong in wanting to cut him off. please help. i feel like a b*tch because im cutting him off am i?

He is not a friend. A friend will not lie to you, at least not as a regular habit. You need to cut your ties. Don't let him make you feel guilty. If he tries that, he is just showing what a manipulative liar he is. It's his own fault he's losing your friendship. You're not losing anything by getting rid of him.
