I like how the "manly" neocons get so uptight when their values are questioned because they defend a pedophile and so they resort to whining about us libs bringing up sickly acts by their leaders! dgindians, is so upset that you keep bringing up mr pedophile Foley that he announces that he has gone and whined about you to the administrators cuz he just can't take it anymore! What a cry baby! Umm, I wonder if he remembers the years and years of ranting regarding prez Clinton and a bj with a 23 yr. old adult female? Your turn honey!

You "Liberals" are sooooo unreal...... I don't condone what he did, and I think he is a pervert.
But come on if he were a liberal..you would be making all kinds of excuses for him. Poor guy, he got molested when he was a child; or he's a good congressman, so let's just ignore it. Clinton made a complete a** out of himself while he was in the "White House", and all the Liberals did, was act completely oblivious to what was going on. They acted like he was being picked on.

That Foley committed the worst kind of hypocrisy! He made many speeches for the committee he served on to change laws to prosecute child molesters. And the whole time he thought it was OK to chase and harass and make sexual remarks to those boys. Then he admits he is gay after being a proud gay basher in his district!

It's always been true but now they've been outed. Funny how the leadership blames the dems for disclosing this info right before an election. The leadership has known about it for 4+ years and has plenty of time to sanction Foley, if they were truly the "values" party.
But then again, maybe embezzlement bribe-taking and pedophilia aren't really crimes if they're done by the "right" people.
New Motto for the RNC: "We're for values, when it's convenient" or "Ethics -- we don't need no stinkin' ethics".

It wasn't child abuse. It was email messages between a 16 year old and an older man.
No sexual activity took place and the age of consent in DC is 16.
It was unethical but it wasn't illegal and most certainly wasn't 'child abuse'

There is not much worse than a pedophile, especially one who is posing as one of our nations leaders. This guy Foley is a sickening disgrace to both sides of the isle. And our leaders that had knowledge of this, need to resign immediately.
