While I agree that nuclear weapons should be best left out of the hands of Kim jongil and Ahmadinejad, the USA should be getting rid of its own arsenal as well.

Anyway, I still have my respects for the US for killing off the Nazis. Otherwise most of us *ah-hem non-"Aryans" would either be dead by now, not even be born, or be slaves to the "Aryans".

How can the US tell other countries they can't have nuclear weapons when the US has a huge arsenal of them?

I think we are hypocritical. When are we going to learn that we are the cause of other countries developing weapons. WE first developed it, we were the first to use it and we also shared our technology with Israel. In turn, we created the arms race and it is due to us that other countries wish to acquire nuclear weapons. Rogue nations feel that they need to secure themselves and/or that they need to be part of the nuclear club in order to have the same "leadership" position that the United States now holds.

When we bully the rest of the world, we become the roguest nation on earth. On that score, we are definitely hypocritical in making demands on others when we should demand ourselves to lead the world in getting rid of nuclear weapons.

generally, the soviet soldiers are credited by historians are most responsible for saving us from the nazis. We still did great workin WWII, but our fellow countrymen's inability to see anything from the perspective of another human being is almost beyond comprehension.

oddly, because i was a military dependent, i spent much of my childhood overseas and so could never think once that we mattered and others didn't, or that we could and others can't. Just can't get my mind around that lack of empathy and self-awareness.

no its not hyprocritical...and here is why you probably don't understand that. (i am not picking on you)

the united states is very imperfect ....but noble. we are by far the greatest and most generous nation on earth. the reason many people think it is hyprocitical is because they do not believe in right and worng and good and evil (whic is another way of saying "whose to say we are right when we use weapons"???

if you own a gun in your home....does that make you a hypocrit to support the de-arming of former criminals or felons or murderers???
nope.

If we get rid of our weapons, how the hell do you want us to run the world? Bow down to your leader, and quit whining.
