A budging disc in my Neck on c6-7 and c5-6 I have been to the Doctors for pain killers. And I've seen a Chiropractor regularly and to a Neurologist and have had an MRI that’s when I found out about the budging disc. My lawyer says it NOT a siginfant injury, but since the accident I have had pain everyday some days so much pain all I can do is cry. I had shot of cortisone last week and I almost feel worse so far I have missed 3week sin a row at work plus odd days here and there. Besides the physical pain I am stressed out about bills that have fallen behind and the thought of losing items I can't make the payments on. And then there’s my love life between my boyfriend and I who have been together for two years and still have the passion that we had when we first met but can't act on it because of the pain. Now my lawyer wants to cut back on my treatments because of the bills getting up there. What should I say to the lawyer about all this? And how dare he say it's not siginfant.

My husband took a fall and he has had these same symptoms ever since. Fortunately, we have excellent insurance. He's had surgery, been to several neurologists, chiropractors, and MD's over the years. He is now seeing a pain management specialist who has him on a couple of prescriptions. He's also had the cortisone shots in his spine (4 at once). He's actually doing a lot better.

With a bulging disc, surgery MAY be an option, so you may want to get a consultation with a neurosurgeon. If surgery is not appropriate, try acupuncture. Then, seek a pain management specialist.

The problem with back injuries is that they are rather hard to identify and treat. My wife had similar injuries in two separate accidents.

Your accident is fairly recent, so some healing is still possible. You might want to shop around for another attorney. I would suggest you look into hypnotherapy as a way to deal with the pain. It can be fairly effective.

Your attorney may not see your viewpoint exactly, but he most likely does know what will happen when the case gets into a courtroom. He probably thinks it's unlikely a judge will give you much help.

That should guide you to a certain extent.

wow.
if you are at fault in the car accident and don't have insurance you might be screwed.
if you were in a car accident and you were not at fault the other person's insurance, if hey have it, would be responsible for your treatment. If you have insurance and they don't you might need to check if you have uninsured motorist if they his you.
It sounds like you need a new lawyer. You might be able to call and just ask another lawyer what he thinks. Call your or their insurance company. I would go back to your original doctor for another assessment on your treatment so far. Also have you tried massage therapy? If you've missed work you should also be paid for the time you missed due to the accident.
I really hope you have insurance of some sort...

get in the pool and get on top of your boyfriend. these are two great exercises for the back...if it is physical pain.... if it is only psychological pain it will go away once you cash the settlement check. turn off the computer and put down the remote control. these are the worst things for back pain. the reason the lawyer says it is insignificant is because if he says the truth that you are a freeloader he will be fired!!!!

Looking for validation? Not gonna find it here, how many bodily injury cases did you review to come with all that jargon? It was almost out of the books my friend which might be mistake no 1.
