Until you complete whatever action that they have required you to complete. i.e Wait the suspension period, pay the fines, complete the driving coures, pay the SR22 to your insurance co. They are all powerful and have you by the balls until you dot all the i's and cross all the T's :(

Well, ive had a few no insurance tickets, they held mine til I paid off the fine, its a pain in the butt, took me close to a year to pay them off, the first one was an accident w/o insurance, second one was just insurance, but I didnt have a strict time, just until I paid it all off, but I assume it would be 6 months, but not sure. You will have to look at your state government website. Google it, it should be in there :-)
