Every day at school when i walk down the hall way all the people mostly the girls stare at me and smile or give me the unconfertable look. Today i overheard these girls looking at me and saying "im scared of her" and then they looked at me and smiled in a uncomfortable way...i mean im really nice and i never said anything to harm them or make them think this way about me. why do they do this?

I dress in old torn pants with stains and the same hoodie everyday with stains on it

people are ignorant and lame. my guess is that they are judging you based on your appearance. everyone does it, it's not right, but people will do it forever. Maybe try introducing yourself and proving them wrong.

How do you dress when you go to school?
Do you dress gothic? That scares some people.
Maybe you should ask the girl you heard say 'I'm scared of her." Why she is scared of you?
Who knows you may end up making a friend.
Next time you see her say "Excuse me, do you mind if I ask you a question? I overheard you tell someone that you were scared of me? I'm really a nice person and you don't even know me. What would cause you to be afraid of me?"
And see what response she gives you.
