No, I don't think so. Disco music was a genre that was an extension of some musical forms already in existence, and some elements of the style still exist in some music today. Rap was possibly the first completely original form of music since rock when it first became popular 27 years ago. Disco music was only popular for about 5 to 10 years, whereas rap has maintained some sense of popularity for nearly 30 years. Also, most disco was essentially the same, where rap has changed throughout the years. From Sugarhill Gang to gangster rap to today's type of rap (whatever you want to call it). Rap music has such an ability to adapt and to change that it is able to remain relevant.

properly your blanketing assertion of announcing that "hip-hop is undesirable" is faulty. yet i'm going to declare that of the previous 3 hundred and sixty 5 days or 2, the entire gangsta rap hype seems to have slowed dramatically. I mean there is far less point out now than there exchange into in 2004 or there abouts. yet then, gangsta rap has been stable for a lengthy time now, so it exchange into approximately time it misplaced it somewhat is momentum. specific do not assume to "declare the music international back" tommorow, yet forces are at paintings...

It will never end, trust me. Hip hop will go on for a long long time. Until society changes dramatically and we become a serious society, but as long as we are a leisure society, sexually free society, hip hop will reign. If there is ever a reason for society to become more conservative sexually, for practical, moral, religious reasons (e.g. people begin to intuitively sense the world is coming to and end as it gets closer to the end), hip hop will lose favor.

It will never die, and I hope you don't take on a mindset like these skinhead idiots above me.
Hip hop is not just a genre of music, it is a culture. From the language, style and moral code.

It depends on the future generations of music.
I see a lot of young kids into hip hop.
Maybe their kids will like a new genre of music not created yet.
It is all a waiting game.
