Calgary. They are looking really good and I think they might finally have it all together. And at this early stage of the game I'd say they are our best chance for bringing the cup back to Canada. However historically the Flames like to go to the final with Montreal. If that happened I'd probably be the only girl on the Red Mile cheering for the Habs!!!

If you are betting money I would say Ottawa. However, I am a Toronto fan cause I am from T.O. But Toronto doesn't stand a snowballs chance this year. Ottawa has the best chance but they always seem to choke. If they can get by this they will get it. Otherwise bank on an American team 70% of the players are Canadian anyway.

It's between Calgary & Edmonton. Oilers have a good offence, but the Flames have a great defence and an improved offence.
Vancouver could be that "Cinderella" team like Edmonton & Calgary from the past two years.

this hurts coming from a somewhat apathetic Leaf fan...
But its Ottawa. Gerber looked solid in net last night and is a big improvement over the oft injured Hasek and Emery and they have kept together most the rest of their team. Although they did lose Chara, several of their other younger defensemen continue to develop. Up front Spezza, Alfie, ... (sigh), its a damn good team.

Flames in the west
Flames have all needed componets to win, but they face tough competition from the sharks and Ducks
Senators in the East
Sens look good tonight, but goalie is main concern.
Oilers would be next, just because McTavish is the man!

Every one of them. All each team needs to do is outplay all the other teams. The math is simple.
