My sons certainly were circumcised, First of all it is written in the Bible that God mcommanded Abraham it do this to hius son Isaac. Secondly, it it cleaner for the male and his partners, After all, it is a flap of skin that must be continually washed especially after urinating and or having sex.

One of my little brothers is circumcised, the other is not. This was never an issue in our house any more then whether one was blond and the other brunette. I do think however the more research you do, the more you see intact boys as normal. I have had both as partners and do believe circumcised partners, especially tightly circumcised ones can be chaffing, there is just too much friction and none of the natural gliding of a foreskin.
Foreskins can seem unsightly to our circumcision 'conditioned' brains here in America, but after my (circumcised) husband and I choose not to circumcise our 3 sons, it's weird to see a circumcised boy . In fact when my 4 year old took a bath with his circumcised cousin he was horrified that someone had 'taken' his cousin's foreskin, and I have to admit, seeing that red ring of scar tissue gave me a chill too because I just wasn't used to it anymore (in little boys).
Times are changing, here in California less then half of newborn boys are circumcised, and not just because there are a lot of different ethnic backgrounds, half of my son's Caucasian friends are uncircumcised. An interesting site for researching this is Fathermag.com, lot's of personal accounts. Hope this helps.

Before my baby boy was born last year, i always had thought i would get my sons circumcised. Because i had grown up with it, all my family are circumcised and also my partner is. But when we had our son we changed our minds. I wouldve had it done if they did it at birth but they dont do that now it is either at 3weeks or at 9 months and they put your baby to sleep which can be dangerous.
I dont really mind either way for myself apart from circumcised is probably cleaner, depending on the individual and how they take care of themselves. But i think if it is taught to be clean and make they wash themselves then it doesnt matter. Not many doctors do the procedure anymore and noone really recommends it anymore, also they are born with it so thats the way they should stay in my eyes. Also it used to be that if you wernt circumcised you were kinda on the outer but now it is the other way around. If they are circumcised, most of this generation arnt now so they are on the outer.
Its easy for people that havnt had children to say that theyd do it but when it comes to your own baby having it done it can also be another story. So yeah, thats just my opinion.

I have two boys and we chose not to circumcise because my first boy went into surgery for other health issues the first day he was born and i refused to put him through any more pain. Boys are made with the extra skin and i don't really think we should be cutting off something that obviously is suppose to be there anyways doctors don't always approve now and here in Canada you need to pay to get it done. I say just leave it alone

i prefer circumcised guys because sometimes an uncircumcised guy the extra skin can get in the way of intercourse and i would circumcise my boys if and when i have them because if they aren't circumcised they may feel different around other boys who are circumcised

i've had both circumcised and uncircumcised partners, but it doesn't really matter which i prefer. it's the man with the (un)circumcised penis that has to live with it. you should be asking them. it's an unnecessary procedure which has no health benefits. i'm currently pregnant and we've decided not to circumcise.

I wasn't going to post but thought I should correct some misinformation. Most circumcisions are now pain less and done with pain killers. People on the internet try and scare other parents out of circumcision by saying it hurts...it doesn't have to.
Here is a good link.

new medical news about circumcision.
I had my sons circumcised after my youngest brother had tons of problems with his foreskin and needed to be circumcised! Not to mention, I had some unpleasant experiences with a circumcised man.
It is much easier on a baby and its a good preventative step to future problems!
I appologise in advance if its too much info.
Lots of love,

I actually didn't think much about it when I okayed my sons circumcision. But in hindsight I think I would have not made the same choice. Let him have a protective layer and preserve his sensitivity.

I HAD BOTH AND THE ONE THAT WAS NOT CIRCUMSIZED WAS NOT THE ONE. I DID NOT LIKE THE EXTRA SKIN HANGING OVER THE HEAD. I DO PREFER CIRCUMSIZED BECAUSE I COULD DO THINGS WITH THAT WITHOUT HAVING TO WORRY ABOUT UNCLEANLINESS. FAR AS CRUD UP UNDER THE SKIN. DURING INTERCOURSE, YOU CAN ACTUALLY FEEL THE DIFFERENCE. WHEN THE UNCIRCUMSIZED ONE WILL PENETRATE YOU NOT GET THE ACTUAL FULL FEELING OF THE ENTIRE HEAD BEING INSERTED. NOW THE CIRCUMSIZED ONE WAS TOTALLY DIFFERENT. YOU REALLY HAVE TO BE CAREFUL WITH THAT UNCIRCUMSIZED STUFF. I HAVE THREE BOYS AND ALL ARE CIRCUMSIZED. IT'S BETTER FOR THEM. SOMETIMES WHEN THE BOYS GET OLDER AND THEY ARE NOT CIRCUMSIZED THE PENIS CAN BECOME IRRITATED. SOME BOYS HAVE BEEN KNOWN TO CIRCUMSIZE THEMSELVES BECAUSE THE SKIN WILL BREAK BUT I WAS TOLD THAT ITS VERY PAINFUL. IF YOU ARE ASKING THIS QUESTION BECAUSE YOU HAVE A SON, I FEEL THAT YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY GET HIM DONE BECAUSE ITS BETTER FOR THEM.
