this si the most horrible question i have heard on this subject yet. We are not burning in hell because there is nothing wrong with us. We are the same with a few differences just like everyone.
i bet the next person you see will be wearing a different shirt than you! this makes them different, does that mean they should burn in hell. If the fact that i am not going to hell makes you lose faith in your religion maybe you should rethink your belief system.

Actually i believe it is because only small minded bigots burn in hell.
You cant lose a faith you never had.
Not knowing which religion you claim to have, I have to say that any true religion doesn't espouse the hating, or discrimination of others, because of who they are..
Accept people for who they are,and how they treat you, not for some stereotypical idea you have in your mind

Are you for real? How can you loose your faith because of someone else's sin? Religion/God is a personal thing and not a "if they are homos I think I'll loose my faith". The Bible says hate the sin and not the sinner. Try practicing that. I'm a hetero and I hate gayism but wishing that they go to hell and making their lives unbearable is not going to make us any better than let me say a devil worshiper, why? Because we will be doing what the devil wants us to do and not God's will.

If your faith in your religion is based upon anyone burning in hell, then by all means, lose it.

because there is no reason for them to.
not equating a gay person to an animal, but
would you put your pet dog to sleep if you saw that he was humping other male dogs? there are some animals that may not be trying to mate with the opposite sex as expected.
for centuries homosexuality has existed. The Ancient Greeks/Romans are perfect examples.
In addition, to this date there are certain cultures in the world where they live in a sexless (non-gender-specific) society. Meaning there is no true definition of male, female, homosexuality, heterosexuality.
I dont understand what the big deal is.

That's a stupid (not to mention biggoted) question. I mean, do you expect any of us to have been to Hell to find out? Or, do you not know that being dead necessitates the possibility of burning in hell?
Also, you're clearly not a Christian if you're eager for others to burn (or else, why the curiosity).
Best question of all, why the HELL am I taking you seriously?

Don't all sinners suposedly burn in hell? Not just gays. You'll burn in hell for sinning yourself. This is such a popular question on LGBT. You should try reading them before you post it again and again and again.

There's a huge difference between "religion" and "faith".
Religion is a "practice" of a particular belief system. A lot of people observe religious things, yet have no actual faith in God. God gave us free will and as such, man is responsible for his errors in judgment. Too many people want to blame it all on the devil, but mankind has free will to choose sin or choose not to sin.
Your so-called loss of faith in your "religion" is maybe that you're frustrated that all of humanity does not embrace the same belief system that you do.
The Bible states that homosexuality is an abomination, the SIN, or act of homosexual sex.
I don't think that being gay is a sin, I know many gays who feel certain they were born gay. They can not change how they were made. However, since the Holy Bible says that acting on it is a sin, an abomination, then we who believe God's word, believe that holosexual sex is a sin.
It must be horrible for anyone who is gay to not be able to express their desires, to be thought of as sinners and freaks. Their lives must be torment.
I can only imagine the feelings they must go through and society labels them.
How do we know why someone is born gay or straight? We don't and we should not judge another. Imagine walking in their shoes.
If you are troubled over gays, and that is causing you to question your religion, are you not being judgmental? God is the ultimate judge, not us.
There are zillions of other things going on in the world that are truly earth shaking and could cause someone's faith to be tested....war, poverty, crime, predicted pandemics, terrorism, hate crimes, racism, abortion, incurable disease, child abuse, the list is endless.
WHY is it that this particular issue is at the forefront of your thinking and appears to rankle you the most?
You need to look into your own heart over this and determine just exactly why it is this issue that threatens your faith....and then talk to GOD about it. I mean, really sit down and talk to God, with an open heart and mind, no self deceit. Ask Him to guide you and to give you faith and understanding, compassion and insight.
None of us know exactly why things happen, nor who will ultimately be chosen to attain eternal life or be cast into the fiery pit. Only God in His wisdom knows.
If you believe in God and His commandments, you know too, that human beings can change, turn away from their sins. We are NONE of us righteous....and have no right to judge another. Perhaps some of those thought to be most pure of heart, thought to be above reproach, will be found to have been harboring great evil within themselves, unbeknownst to the world. They may appear to be lovely, God-fearing people but underneath it all lies a horrible evil. Perhaps some of those looked upon by the world as being terrible sinners and beyond repair will be among those called forth when Jesus comes.
Don't presume to have the ability to see into to heart of man, for only God has that ability.
I am grateful that human beings are not given the ability to determine our eternal fates, so judgmental, biased, prejudicial & lacking in compassion are many of them.
I am grateful that God forgives us completely when we truly repent of something and there is only one unpardonable sin. The unpardonable sin is denying God, turning away and choosing the evil path knowingly. By this I do NOT mean stumbling on the path, or messing up & sinning in spite of ones attempts NOT to sin, I mean a total and absolute decision to deny God completely and to turn away from HIm aand His commandments.
Don't blame religion for your lack of faith......God is with us all the time and He is only a prayer away. Turn to Him to guide you, and to restore your faith & relationship with Him.
You know He's here....just call on Him!
Take care!
