Most of the top Indian businessmen are investing in China in a big way. China has become the next attractive destination for top professionals. Most of the NRI investors feel that India is 30 years behind China today.

The Indian public is foolish to believe that some miracle is going to happen and their great leaders will transform India in to a paradise on earth. The truth is, they are just joining hands with MNCs and are working on full rupee convertibility to manage their wealth outside India.

In the past five years alone China has made tremendous progress on infrastructure like roads, railways and manufacturing industries. We are still bragging about the BPO/call centre sweat shops. It is sad that the same Indians are shifting their major operations to China becase it is not possible to grow without infrastructure.

India is going up the value chain, from a BPO focused destination, it is becoming a knowledge process outsourcing, destination- the BPO business too is growing, because Indian quality is better than even US, and at a far lower price.
Last year the Chinese Premier visited India and put forth this proposition that India provides the brains and China the brawn, it's happening. And the US and many other countries also invest in China, that does not mean that China is more advanced then them, it's just business economics and of course the Chinese labor regulations-which are meet the targets irrespective of the number of hours you work or whether you live or die, that is immaterial to the Chinese administration.
India has far more sophisticated, humane advanced labor regulations than the Chinese. Remember you see only what China allows you too see, and it's certainly not it's dark underbelly that you are gonna be allowed to look at.
