TRAVEL TO GET THERE BY ANY MEANS POSSIBLE
TOURISM THE VISIT PLACES AND LIE ON A BEACH OR LOOK AT CITIES ANIMALS OR CULTURES AROUND THE WORLD

Travel and Tourism is a term given to its study. ie in a college course you would be asked to differentiate between the two. Giving examples throughout. It is argued that in simple terms you TRAVEL by bus to the shope - thats not tourism. You holiday, thats TOURISM.
