Start, control panel, add/remove programs, find the file, right click and choose delete.
Remember to empty recycle bin, and then reboot. When the software is removed the icon should be also. If it is not go back to add/remove programs and look for any supporting software that may have been added with the tool bar.

There's a bunch of temporary files your computer saves all the time, just by viewing the internet. These files over time can build up and slow down your computer. A lot of people think they can delete all of them by simply going to internet options and deleting their cookies and temporary internet files.
This helps but doesnt solve the problem. There are still several other places that temp files get saved. That's why you always see all those commericals for "history eraser" or "No tracks". It's not hard to find the other files if you really wanted to explorer your comp, but here's a program that wipes all temp files clean for free.

browse to the temp folder and delete it?
to lock the toolbar, right click the toolbar in explorer and choose lock toolbar. to remove from windows task bar, right click the icon and choose delete (assuming its in quick launch)

Run a search for the folder Temp, and delete the file from there (put it into Recycle bin.*

try going into youre control panel and go to add remove programs if its still in there it should take everything off that was installed when ya downloaded it.....
