many say that finance has got good opportunities .... What do u say????

Hi,
I believe you should take a look at the country that you're planning to work for.
To be honest, an MBA in Finance tends to open more doors. Apart from financial institutions, consulting firms, investment firms etc etc still look for individuals who are strong in Finance.
HR is still unfortunately considered a support function and hence, opportunities are limited.

Finance has better pays,However if you are not much of a number cruncher then you would not be able to be good at it as it is the toughest managment feild it is also one of the most risky, One mistake and its a bad impression on your career for life.HR is not high on pay but if you are a people type of person then surely you can get good at it and get a good pay out of it.

doin MBA in finance will be more helpful as your friend has a backgroud of commerce. and do remeber do it from a good reputed institute that will help in placement. as hr in india is not considered to be taken off yet

you can take HR rather than Finance. Because Managing Human Resources is one of the challenging one rather than managing money.

depends on what is his interest weather its Finance or HR.
If he is good with numbers and enjoys money market and stock market games then he can choose finance.
If he is more of people person..more into planning and administration then he can choose HR.

i think that MBA Is good because you are B.com you can get more and more oppourtinity inMBA . you can convenince gradually . youhave good commercial knowledge

As a B.com grad, you may choose finance.But if you have a taste in
HR go for it.
