Well, the Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Willie Nelson are still around and popular, so I would say yes.

Madonna just beat Britney Spears in record sales for one recording, and I think the Rolling stones continues to be the top concert act. Beyond those two acts though it would be kind of hard. Music producers are making their own bands so they get more of the profits. They don't see the point in selling outside acts.

i think there is, if you listen real close of songs from bands like nickle back and hinder they are trying to bring rock back, stuff like you would have heard in the late 80's and mid 90's. also bands like poison are still around you just do not hear much from them, but they are to be going into the studio in the next year to make a new album, and if this is true i think other bands from the this era will also make some type of come back with the help of some of the newer bands!
