Most of the people telling me that its waste of doing computer courses while doing eng litt.Is it true?Please reply me as soon as possible.

That depends on what you want to do when you get out of school. There aren't a whole lot of jobs in English lit, so you may find it quite useful to have some computer skills. I would not recommend jumping into any computer science classes unless you're a very structured thinker (more mathematical than creative), but your school probably has other computer classes outside the computer science department, maybe even a separate department for "business information technology" or something along those lines.

I would see if there are any courses which focous on Microsoft Offfice tools. These skills are helpfull no matter what you do.

Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint (don't tell me you'll never need to do a presentation)...
