my doctor told me that which ever way is comfortable for yoy is the way you should lay. the baby is in the water bad, it is already very comfortable. it doesnt effect him/her. i did lay on my stomache until my 8th month. my baby was born perfectly healthy.

i don't think it would be too safe.
my Dr told me the best way to sleep or lay down is on my side.
sleep on the left side because it takes pressure off your bladder and u won't have to get up alot to go to the loo.
also he told me that by lying on your back the baby can't get much oxygen so the best way is to luy on your side....

Its ok...as long as you are comfortable....i laid on my stomach thru my whole pregnancy, and at 9 months i was most comfortable on my stomach! i just had my baby 6 days ago!

As long as you can get comfortable in this position there should be no problem with this position.

if it is uncomfortable then no..dont lay on your tummy if you are still small enough that you can lay on your tummy then I guess so...ask your doc....I am 16 weeks and cant lay on my tummy...hmmm..
