depends on if i have interest in the topic. if i really don't then about a day a page, plus 2 days of proofreading. but if is an opinion essay that i give a damn about and could bullshit my way through it i could easily do it in 3 days.

hate to say it but it really does depend. It depends on:

The topic.
How good of a writer you are
the format style
the type of paper (compare/contrast, descriptive, etc.)
Whether you're typing it or writing by hand
How much research you do
yadda yadda yadda

But if you're good, it's an easy/ interest topic, minimal research, I'd still give myself a week to ensure a high quality product.

Good question. I have a few for you also.

1. How deep should a hole be?
2. How long is a piece of rope?
3. What time do people get sleepy?
4. Which country has the most?

Get the idea?

How good do you want it. I can knock it out in a day but it wont be well researched and might have some run on parts. If you really want a decent paper I'd give it 3-5 days giving it attention every day.

If you are footnoting and have a good outline you should be able to write 1.5 - 2 pages per hour (maybe even 3). I'd give myself 6 hours just to be sure, but would probably be finished in 4.5.
If you are endnoting it will take longer because you will have to write more.

Well it does depend on the topic...and it depends on how fast you can type and how well you know the information. Does it matter? Just do it the damn thing.

I would say 4 days.
First day, research & outline
Second & third day, rough draft
Fourth day, final draft, print out
Turn it in and rest!
