In some cases, yes, because people have a false sense of anonymity from it, not realizing that a sophisticated hacker can trace the location of any computer on the net. If you are on the net, you have a series of numbers that identifies where your computer is. Most folks don't want to bother with this, but if the NSA wants to find out where you are, they will.

I think so based on the fact that I deal with allot of people on a daily basis and don't come near to seeing the nastiness encountered in here in a short period of time. Seems the same way some people are emboldened when their in a group of their peer they are also emboldened when they hide behind the mask of anonymity.

No doubt. As to why, because it's anonymous. They can get away with it. Screw them, I say. They are bitter and have issues. So, if you are a happy person, you are way ahead of the vicious people. It's okay to feel a little sorry for them.

yes,because no one know who they are and they will be more easy to avoid some responsibility relatively.Then they may be more "vicious" or some guys like kidding in internet communication.
