I am 23 and my 25 yr old brother was in a horrible automobile accident last week, and he recently passed away in the hospital while I was holding onto his hands, his wife was killed instantly. It was a very sad moment because he had a newborn son that is just 2 weeks old and he was so proud he was a father, and he had just gotten married a year ago. I was in the hospital room visiting him and he told me he didn't think he was gonna make it, he started to cry and he asked me if I could be the role model, father, and dad of his new son. and I was speechless. we had never cried in front of eachother in about 8 yrs or so, needless to say that was a very sad moment. I sobbingly told him I would be honored to be the father figure for his son and that I would take good care of him. wow, this is starting to get to me...... anyways I went to grab a quick bite to eat from the snack bar and when I came back, 4 doctors were in his room and I ran in and grabbed his hand and he

I knew from the beginning that this story wasn't true. Too many details, too sappy, and VERY poorly written. I'm not sure what you do for a living, but if you ever decide to become an author--please think twice. I think you need to re-think taking an Eng. 101 class again.

Ok, I think you've had enough slam basting so I am not going to attack you or say something mean. After the reactions I read, regardless your purpose of doing this, you seem to know how to effect people and get a reaction from them, where I would suggest that you take the skill you seem to have and become a writer.

Your not the first to make up a story like this and you surely won't be the last but I would watch what you say b/c it will come back to bite you one day remember that old saying what comes around goes around.

You really need to get a life!!! It's not funny to "make fun" about the death of a family member or anyone else as far as tha goes. I was holding my 4 year old son in my arms when he died, Something I wouldn't want my worst enemy to go thru. I have also lost a sister to suicide, and a niece to murder. Don't be making fun of it. :(

Well people do make up stories like this and yours was very recognisable and suspect as made up for many reasons. Your lack of emotional wording and event trauma was out of proportion. Your sentencing and occurrence was out of order.

First off......your little "snack break" gave you away! True family emotion and events of death don't take "snack breaks".

People, even under traumatic stress, often take time to enunciate, elaborate and give details to evaluate their own emotions. Yours was absent and void.

The scenario is common, to falsify the incident is no less than criminal intent.

So "BOO" for your simplistic meager attempt to charade US.

oh my god, i hope you didn't think that was funny!

i almost cried, because my mother died last year in hospital and i didn't make it in time to say good bye to her, and that is something i'll have to live with for the rest of my life, i was pregnant with my first child and she never got to see her grand son.

my mother was by her self when she passed away and she was so scared she told my step dad she didn't want to go alone in her sleep, and thats exactly how she went!!!!

although my story was real and it actually happened to me, u should write books!
