I am a nice person but for some reason everyone thinks I suck! I found out that my "friends" talk about me behind my back. They say I am annoying because I refuse to do things like get drunk with their dumb asses. They call me a prude all the time. I stopped calling them, stopped worrying about them yet they call me and ask to hang out with me! WTF?

When they say that you are a prude and call you a loser for not getting drunk with them, they are just trying to cut you down. competitiveness is human nature. Even the best of friends talk about each other behind their backs, it's just something girls do. They still ask you to hang out because they do like you. You aren't doing anything wrong. Don't because a drunken *nonprude* to please your friends! If they rag on you and ask you why you don't just tell them that you are happy the way you are and don't find it necessary.

Well, I'm sorry to say but there's an old saying "a friends wouldn't do that to a friend". They know you right, so they know you've refused repeatly and thats not your thing, as friends they should deal and move on. Your no Prude, your doing what is best for you, what you want. The most important thing is to take care of you. They are most likely calling because deep down they know your alot cooler than they are, your intelligent and don't let peer pressure force you into crap, but they are in that mind set, that makes them want to fit in no matter what they have to do...
Stay true to you no matter what, if they continue to pressure and attack you then perhaps its time to find someone else to hang with :( make then feel like they are the odd ones out.
I hope things work out for you, and that some of these friends start to understand and support you, it would suck to lose friends over something so silly as whether you want to drink and such.

If they keep calling you, they probably like you a little more than you think. Sounds to me like you'd be a lot more likeable if you'd loosen up a little though. No need to drink till you black out, but one or two drinks every now and then isn't going to kill you, and they might like you a lot better if you did that, and didn't call them dumb asses.
Or maybe they're just too wild for you, and you should look for some friends that can hang without getting drunk.

The only one you have any control over is yourself; its wonderful that you have a sound set of values that can't be swayed, but don't be critical of others it makes you sound pompous and makes you a big target for teasing (and being uncool) You don't have to refuse to call your friends or be a friend, they are more than just those bad habits and you should focus on those things (I don't know your age, but if you are of age, I sure wouldn't get in a car with them driving)

If you feel you are doing the right thing by not drinking and stuff, then you should listen to yourself. All your friends are trying to do make you do it cuz they think its right. Nothing is wrong with you. You are doing what you feel is right. If I were you, I'd try looking for new people to be friends with. These people are obviously not your friends if they're trying to put peer pressure on you.

love urself, d are probably jealous of u. there must be something unique about u which d hate to see cos d haven't got it. everyone does not think u suck, just bcos a handful of people think that about you does not mean u are like that.

dont hang out with them anymore...
its better to be alone and have a peace of mind than being with pple who pushes u around.
for me, i'd rather keep one friend for life than be in a group, where there is a lot of intrigues and jealousy.

if they dont like u for u are then they werent ur friends in the first place. check out some clubs at ur school that ur interested in and maybe ull find people like u in them and make more friends. yay!
