Ok, so i love going through the fashion and accessories category and people try and be cool and make refernces to designers but they have no idea what they are talking about...
ex. endless times i have seen Louis Vuitton spelled louie viutton or louie viton and Chanel as channel and people asking where to buy fake Juicy suits...oh and the people that think the Gap is the highest place of fashion you can go. and i even saw a girl trying to reference Nordstrom and said North Storms...and btw its Nordstrom not Nordstroms gosh it just infuritates me...whose with me??

Well, im glad that when i asked this question rude people decided that making me feel bad about myself was a good idea...and all i have to say is that some people have passions and if yours is lame...it's not my fault so get over yourself!

For what it's worth, it's obvious that nobody cares much about details anymore...read through Yahoo Answers for a couple minutes and you see the stupid rampant in the world.
Sure, you can be made to feel guilty when somebody compares being aggravated about lack of attention to detail (whether it be names of designers, the chemical formula of formaldehyde, it doesn't matter) to a children's cancer ward. Odds are good, I'd almost bet on a sure thing, that that person has some pet peeve that sets them off that's every bit inconsequential when compared to the injustices of the world.
One word...CONTEXT!!!
Think about it for a minute...the kids out there who can only spell in text-message-ese, who don't know that the work "you" actually *has* three letters...these are your future doctors and, dare I say it, president. Attention to detail has to start somewhere, even if it's something as trivial as the spelling of a designer.
What do you call a person who graduates medical school with all D's?
"Doctor"

Perhaps some of them are simply poor spellers, much like yourself. I see no less than three words spelled incorrectly in your post (not including, of course, the ones intentionally spelled wrong as examples). What bothers me is that anyone would be that concerned with such petty matters, but that's just me.

I suggest you visit a children's cancer ward. Then maybe you won't get so upset if someone spells a designers name wrong because you will realize that there are vastly more important problems on this planet than the misspelling of a designer's name.

when someones typing something quickly no one really cares how they spell things! what really annoys me is ppl asking stupid questions like this one! seriously- who cares!?! now whose with me???
