Ask him to look at something beautiful - a flower, a sunset, your body, whatever - and then imagine how it would be like to be blind - untreated diabetics have a very high chance of blindness. Have someone who has to have kidney dialysis several times a week tell him how horrible kidney failure is. If he lets his diabetes go untreated, that, too, is in his future. Ask him if he expects you to push his wheelchair if he loses a leg to diabetes.
If he will not get treatment, get out of his life now, or you will end up having to care for him as he dies from this self-inflicted misery! Medicine is highly effective in preventing the horrible effects of diabetes, and anyone who knowingly lets these things happen by not getting treatment is not worth the heartache.

Tell him if he do not get help that you are going to leave him, if he loves you enough he will get to the doctor and get help(right now all you can do is pray).that he goes to the doctor.

if he refuses to help himself there is nothing you can do. But that doesn't mean you have to sit by and watch. Let him know how much it upsets you and if he doesn't care about that, he doesn't truly care about you

Get a good life insurance policy on him.
