All of us know what it is to be selfless and everyone of us goes through such moments in life not too infrequently. No human being can be 100% selfish all the time. Examples of selfless moments are galore in our roles as parent, lover, friend, teacher, doctor etc.

I've heard of selfless acts not "things". And, as a person, only God is selfless.

Things that are not of the self. Extra-self objects. A cloud. Of course you could always argue that the cloud only exists because we will it so, and the external world is really an internal illusion. But even then, there can be no "self" because the realization of "self" would require the concept of "non-self" and we could never realize that if we created our won reality. So my answer-yes there are. Suicide. Suicide is only because you are not able to realize it but others can. You are involved in the act, but the aftermath has nothing to do with your realizations of "self vs. selfless" because there is no you to realize it.

No. there is no such thing. Everything you do, everything you say is all about ego. Even when you make a hard choice, you always make it for yourself... Here's an example: You have a sister. She's not a nice person and only always wants what you can give her and she's never available to help you. She calls you up and asks you for something AGAIN. You don't want to give it to her, but giving it to her is easier than listening to all the crapola she'll send your way if you don't give her what she wants.... you choose the easy way out, even if it's not the best option..... Yeah.... everything we do in life is done with the ego helping to choose....
