First figure out if he knows why he's a Republican, then set him straight, if he still does not agree -- take him out to the woodshed, invite him over to take a look at your garbage disposal, send over a spinach pie, ya know --be neighborly!!

This is a tricky situation. Deep down, he might really be a nice guy but he has subsisted on years of propaganda and doublespeak from the faux news network so his perception of reality may be skewed. There might be a tendency to lash out at you when you try to point out reality.
The "Goldwater Republicans" used to have a vision of a smaller less-intrusive government and actually seemed to care about individual liberty. This new breed seems intent upon building a neo-fascist theocracy and yet the rank and file Republicans still think they maintain the values they once did.
In the 70's, there was a rise in professional "deprogrammers" who tried to undo the damage of brainwashing performed by the religious cults. This practice may need to be re-awakened to undo the Republican brainwashing.

Well i really don't know why this would be an issue for you, as long as he respects you're views then it doesn't matter if hes a republican living next door to you! Whats this world coming to, not everyone has the same views that you or someone else might have, just suck it up and go you're separate ways.

I hate to say this but I am an independant and I found out my wife is a repugnican. I am going to divorce her really soon. Repugnicans are either mean spirited, ignorant or self righteous. They don't think about what is good for all classes of people. They think if everyone conforms with thier plan we will all be wealthy some day in the " high tide rises all boats" fallacy. They are wrong!

- Does he get Viagra supplements delivered to his door every week? And he's only 32 years old?
- Did he move from a trailer park into your neighborhood?
- Does he burn a cross in his backyard every now and then?
- Does he leave for nightly "meetings" wearing a white robe and pointy mask?
- Does he frequently say things like "Fox News is unbiased, unlike CNN" and "Cavuto is God"?
- Would he suck George W's penis if the opportunity presented itself?
- Does he have no friends?
- Does he wish Strom Thurmand was elected President back in the day?
- Does he find the transexual writer Ann Coulter and her Adam's Apple attractive?
If you answered 'yes' to one or more of these questions, rest assured, he's a Repuglican.
To get rid of them, simply engage them in intelligent discourse. They hate that.

Tell him "No, my son will NOT give you his AOL address and he is NOT interested in being a congressional Page!" Then say "Ditto heads make my garden turn brown." Also, take a picture of him everyday from now until the Nov. elections and post them as a film on youtube titled, "The incredible shrinking Hippocrate"

You try to study hard so that you have more than a snowball's chance in hell of being able to win a debate with them by using the facts. Taxes would be a good one, because Dems never seem to comprehend the slightest with regard to how tax policy operates. They have never understood it, and probably never will.
