They either travel or are unable to afford a home is what I used to think. That was not meant as a cruel statement, it was the way I was raised. Things are different now. Mobile homes are very popular and have all the latest gadgets inside. Wish I had one instead of living in an apartment. I think we all need to change our old ways of thinking about things. My best friend has a mobile home.

A newer trailer can be nice but they are not fuel efficient and just a temporary living arrangement if you live in the cold north.

I grew up in "Tornado Alley" so my first thought is that I do not want to be visiting them during a thunderstorm. They aren't much fun where I live now during hurricanes, either.

It can be cheap housing, but I feel that it is just not safe.

I don't think there all bad just because they live in one. I worked at a place that sold them ,some are really nice inside but there not really made all that sturdy mostly sheet rock & ply board

I have seen some incredible double wides with beautiful layouts; Fireplaces, huge kitchens with islands, sunken tubs. massive bedrooms. I do not judge people based on where they live.

there smart,,they dont have a big morgage to pay every month..im thinking of buying a mobile home myself..cant beat it..whe buy a house and pay all you life for your morgage..by the time youve paid for it..your about dead! so stuff that..mobile home here i come..then i can afford the little luxurys in life
