this will not hurt your chances of having more kids. trust me i know.6 years ago i was diagnosed with cystic ovary disease the dr said this would lessen my chances of having more kids.i believed him. i had cysts removed 3 times, and quit taking my birth control thinking i could not have anymore. needless to say i had another baby in 2002 and i have one on the way right now. sometimes having irregular periods can cause you to get cysts on your ovaries, so your dr may suggest that you take some form of birth control for a while to regulate them. this would be a good idea if you are wanting to wait a while anyway. good luck on your future young ones

No.
Here's a happy story I can tell you.
I have a friend who just had a healthy baby. Early on during her pregnancy, they discovered the cyst and she had it removed right after giving birth. Because of all the timing, she knows that her baby is from her other ovary, so she is very confident she can keep on having right ovary babies! The trick is that you will not ovulate like a two ovary woman. So it might be a lot harder to find out your schedule. My friend happens to be a doctor and was totally confuesd why she couldn't figure things out, but it turns out it was because she only had one working ovary.
If you don't get pregnant the next time you try, get yourself an ovulation kit. The one I used was only $20 a target. Good luck!

in line with risk you have have been given a cyst on your ovary. i can make an appt jointly along with your ob/gyn to get an ultrasound achieved. each so often they're waiting to grant you medical care to shrink them or each now and then the healthcare professional could do away with them. Take some OTC tylenol or advil for the suffering meanwhile. good success!

With my second child I found out I had a cyst on my right ovary..3months after he was born I had surgery ..turned out to be a tumor, they had to remove my ovary because the tumor was stuck on it.. I was sad thinking it would take me forever to get pregnant again..(It had taking me almost 5yrs to get pregnant with my 2nd child)..The day after my sons 1st b-day I found out I was pregnant again with my 3rd child..as long as you have one working ovary you can still get pregnant..

Not if it isn't cancerous and the doctor can treat it safely.
