We have this basketball schedule that the basketball coach gave me, and we have weight room after school Tuesdays and Thursdays. They have alot of workout things, like free weights, leg press, bench press and plenty of other things. What my question is, is what kind of workouts should i do to make me quicker and faster before basketball season starts?

you don't have to be the fastest guy on the court to be a good baller. But if you want to be quicker this is what you should do. Run your butt off, this will increase your stamina and while your at it do some squats, leg presses, and calf raises that should help your speed. And if these suggestions don't help then I would concentrate on fundamentals like playing good D and rebounding. If you can do these things I promise you will rule the court.

Definetly workout your legs.

Squats
Leg Press
Standing Calf
Seated Calf

The squats and leg press will help you get a good two inches on your vertical.
