If it's in the skin, it is probably a small cyst and is no cause for concern. I would suggest however that you see your doctor to be sure as we here in Yahoo can only guess.

Richard, please go and see your family doctor about this. There is every chance it is nothing serious but to put your own mind at rest, if nothing else, it is important you get checked out. It is important that you trust your doctor to do what they're paid to do!

You can also go here: http://www.netdoctor.co.uk/menshealth/facts/testicularlumps.htm for more information.

Good luck with everything.

PS. Sorry I had to add a comment after reading the above answer to mine, it is extremely unlikely to be testicular cancer, it is a fairly rare condition, I am sure the above poster meant to answer in a more supportive and helpful tone.

If the bump is not growing just do not bother. Since the skin there is so soft ,such small bumps and nodules do exist in some males and if there is no pain or itching and it is no way disturbing you then it would be better to leave it alone.

Don't be shy, but don't get panic, just go to a doc and check it. the sooner the better:
1.You'll get the professional check you need and treatment if needed , any delay might just do harm.
2.Will remove the issue quick of your heart if everything is fine.

Wishing you all the best,
take it easy ;-)
