Polyester and spandex don't shrink....sorry.... you'll have to see a seamstress and have it taken in.

The only real way to shrink clothing is to wash it in hot water, and dry on high heat. But I wouldn't recommend it for your costume, as it would probably ruin it. Do you know some one who might be able to take in for you so that it fits better?

Use hot water (wash it) then dry it in a hot dryer but, I doubt it will shrink much as polyester tends NOT to shrink

Easy way is try to soak them into hot water! May shrink a little, around 60C hot water. But be careful!
Or put it into dryer machine... ! Good Luck!

Damn I was going to say wash it in hot water then put it in the dryer on hot but I think that only works on Cotton. Sorry I couldn't help.

Put a belt around it, or take it in with a needle and thread.
Only natural fibers shrink, and your garment is man-made.

Check with Mom & see if she has a receipt so you can exchange for a smaller size. If that's not possible try sewing it to make it a little more snug.

you are just going to wear it one night. Mom, or a teacher at school can pin it up for you to make it fit
