when i am not in period i do yoga 3 days a wek just for 20 min. But as my period date approaches i stop doing yoga for 10 days. Is it bad for a health?/

It is not certainly bad for health. Unless you do yoga regularly and for a fairly long time, you will get the required benefit. During your menstrual cycle, you need not do arduous asanas. But, you may do pranayama, during this period. On all other occasions, I would advise you, as a student of yoga, to do it not less than an hour a day. If for any reason, you are not able to do it, for an hour, try to do suryanamaskara for at least 12 rounds, followed by pranayama. I wish you could do this with a passion, as if that is the be all and end all in your life.

it is good that u do not do yoga when u hv periods b'cos they can lead to heavy menstruation.
u can start yoga u'r periods are completely stopped.
yoga can be done at least 3 or 4 times a week it is sufficient but can be done with proper knowledge and for 1-2 hrs.
