Even a lifetime is not enough to understand women – yet they are the most beautiful creatures God created to partner men!

It wouldn’t be fair to brand most of them mean. Its not like most men don’t have a mean streak at all. Yes, if you rub women the wrong way you might get a sharper reaction from them in comparison to men. I maintain, still not a very effective yardstick to measure ‘meanness’.

On the other hand, they like to gossip and the idle chatter can sometimes create problems for others around them. But most of it is harmless like another woman who’s had a bad hair day/a bad shade of lipstick/ a bad partner on her arm…

No. We are just upset about people not treating us as equals.

What gets me in the most trouble is that I'm TOO nice. Maybe you should try to be nice to us. It will come back, like karma or boomerangs. If all women have been mean to you, it's probably something to do with how you act towards us.

No. Most women are not mean; and, contrary to the answer someone else gave that "we have our moods", most women do not "moods" enough to make them mean. I have to say that I am actually under the impression there are more mean men than mean women; and I would think statistics on domestic abuse may bear that out.

It is 2006, and there is still so much mysogeny and ignorance out there for women to overcome. Amazing.

Of course not. Just like most, if not all, men are not complete jerks. That's a stereotype tv perpetuates that unfortunately a lot of people buy into. It's especially tragic when people internalize those roles that they see on tv and then adopt them for themselves. Anyway, what is "mean" is a matter of perspective and is relative, so you're the only one who can really define that for yourself.

Yes except the older more muture ones. I work with 14 of them I am 1 out of 4 males that work in a healthcare facility.Obviously we're out numbered and my boss is one.The young ones in there 20's are impatiant with people.

As long as women are willing to undergo pain of pregnancy and delivery, theirs is the most sacrificing gender.

Women, I guess, appear to be mean, due to their outward social behaviour, which springs from social insecurity in the man's world, and so, they tend to be manipulative in their interactions and actions. But it is just their way of coping with their life situation.

Plus, there are bad apples in every basket. The basket may be labelled as 'Women' / 'Men'/ 'In-between Gender'

I've come across more mean man than women.But our social standards readily accept such men, giving justification for their actions, (NOW, please don't mention that I gave justification of women's meanness. I know it did!!) but women are not spared at the sight of slightest meanness.
