Ok, this is a very "vague" question.

People who do Autopsies for what purpose?

This depends on the prevalent circumstance.

You would call them doctor.

The have an MD specializing in pathology. In a hospital, they are pathologists, in a non hospital setting, they are either medical examiners or coroners. The difference in those two is that a coroners office is part of the sheriffs department, a medical examiner is not. Areas choose to set these up differently.

This is just for autopsies though. People who do embalmings have special training, but are not doctors.
