Check out Wikipedia:

Just look up the article for any date (i.e. "October 8"). It's not specifically for Australia, but I'm sure you'll find some Aussie events, births, and deaths in there.

Hello dear!
You could check with a librarian, they are super in finding all info in the library!
Another way is calling some TV station!
