what do you do ? you like him he did ask you out you go to the dance with him. Sometimes boy's will tell there friends other things as not to make a big deal out of it you dont' know if he's just saying this to his friend cause he wants to be cool or what ever else boys do to each other.. Just go with the flow the main thing is he asked you out so he must like you. even if he doesnt' tell his friend that yet.. The homecoming will be a time for him to see if he likes you more and vise versa this will give you a chance to see if you still like him. Just enjoy the moment and let things happen naturally.

The good news here is your going to homecoming with this guy you like so much. Enjoy it have fun and be yourself. so he can see the real you.

Have fun :-)

He must have asked you to homecoming for a reason. If he truly only likes you as a friend, his feelings may grow for you as he spends more time with you that evening. Then again, you and he may only be friends for good. Go and take the chance; you only live once. If you don't go, you will always wonder.

go with him! he may have just said that to your friend b/c hes insecure and thinks that you only of think of him as a friend. at the end of homecoming, see if he asks you out again. if he never does, then you guys just may be friends. But enjoy homecoming and be happy that he asked you! Even if he doesn't like you now, doesn't mean that he won't ever like you.

Having him as a friend is better than not being friends. Several guys..(myself included) prefer starting out as friends and let the friendship develop into romance if possible. He may be going Thur a split-up and only wants a friend for now..Let him decide if he wants to let the friendship continue into something else.

Just go to the dance and have a good time. Don't worry if he only likes you as a friend. Focus on developing a friendship with him. Give it time, eventually most guys come around to their senses. But the important thing is to just have fun with him, worry about the present and not about the future.

You go with him. You have a good time. If something develops, great. If not, you've still got a friend and you've had a great time.

Relax. You've got all the time in the world.

I don't have any experience... but maybe you could learn to be his friend, and maybe you might find out that he's really good as a friend, and not as a boyfriend.
ORRRR...
You could be a friend, be best friend, be kinda together, and then..
WALA! You're really boyfriend and girlfriends!

he asked you to homecoming?? cool- you have to start somewhere- it might lead to something more- don't throw yourself at him- that would be a mistake- be cool - take your time- and see what happens- D
