One I always like is the Tooth Fairy. Get a blue dress from a thrift store and you can wear a tiara and have a wand. Its fun and pretty a little bit unique.
Lots of animals are easy like cat.

I was Gumby one year... best Halloween of my life. No joke. It took a few trips to the store to find his costume, but I eventually found it.

If you like the 80's (like I do), why not go as Madonna, circa 1983? It's fun and pretty easy to put together: Everything in black: leggins, ankle boots, mini skirt, lace gloves, plastic bracelets, eyeliner... download a pic of her early years, it will inspire you. Doesn't matter if you're not a blonde, BTW. I dressed up like that once and I won a prize. Or go as Cyndi Lauper, she's fun to dress up as also. Hope this helps! :-)

It's been about 20 years since I was in the 8th grade, but I think we dressed up as "punk rockers". We used a colored trash bag as our dress, ( cut a hole in the sides for arms, and on the bottom for our head). We wore long johns, or tights with leg warmers, cool boots, oh and belt. Crazy make up, spiked hair, probably some glitter hair spray! We thought we were all that! So much fun! Enjoy yourself, and be safe! :~)

Hmmm well they got good costumes at party city (thats if u have 1 where u live)..why dont u just buy a scary mask....

You should be a plastic surgery patient. Get a whole bunch of gauze and medical tape and go crazy with it around your face. That would be funny and different.

go the totally opposite of your personality. if you are a jock or jockette go as a greaser, loser, goth etc.
