They say strange things happen in an old cemetery on Friday the 13th and on Halloween. I and a friend are going to prove them wrong! We will take precautions, like holy water, a silver cross, and a Bible (everything will be blessed by a Catholic priest). Are you going to do anything out of the ordinary to get scaried?

The graveyard is on an old abandon
property that is barely kept up. No one patrols the area.

I'm going to get a big sledge hammer and go looking for people sleeping in graveyards. You will know it is me coming by the sound because I drag one foot slowly behind me. "Step, draaaggg, step, draaaggg, step, draaaggg.

OK, for real one Friday the 13th when I was hosting a morning show on radio I did a crazy broadcast. I set up on 13th Street in my town and then at 13 minutes past the hour every hour I would break another taboo. Some of the things I did were: Walk under a ladder. Spill salt. Break a mirror. I had listeners call in with suggestions. One listener brought me a black cat so I could get it to cross my path. I did all of this to show how stupid these superstitions are. No harm ever came to me. There was a guy on the morning show with me that thought I was insane to tempt fate in this way and he would not do any of the things. He made for a good counterpart on the show.

to get scared? no. However, I am planning honoring the Knights Templar, that were excommunicated and declared "Outlaws" and arrested by the order of the king of France, starting the whole "Friday the 13th" superstition. Thirteen is really a mystical number, nothing unlucky about it.

For Halloween I plan on attending a pagan Samhain ritual. After all the point of Halloween/Samhain is to prove to the dark spirits that we are NOT afraid, and thus take away their power over us.

Good for whom? You or the dead person you are sleeping on top of?
Holy water, a silver cross and a Bible. You think the a vampire might come and try to neck you? lol
I don't believe in that stuff, but you are more than welcome to have some fun. Why not? It'll be a Friday.

If you are truly a Catholic or Christian you would let the dead rest in peace and pray for them and their souls on your own time.

Why would you want to get scared for. There is enough stress in this world and negativity, than to provoke the unseen.

True Story: A teacher back in the 50's in Europe was a grave digger at night and would steal jewelery from the recently deceased. The locals claimed he went mad (insane) for the rest of his life and was institutionalized, and was NEVER normal again. Let that be a warning to you, and I pray for you.

I might donate blood to the red cross for the first time then. It just so happens they're at my university that week and it would be best to do it on a Friday since I could have the weekend to recover.

I was going to get married on Friday, October 13th on the beaches up at North Shore, Oahu.

We changed our mind because I wanted to go home and have our families there for our wedding.

Now, I'm going to get drunk and have a bachlorette party.

I would be very careful if I was you. Spirits are not normally malicious or evil but you are taking an unnecessary risk. Believe it or not spirit do exist I know this for sure.

Some girls did a seance at my school a few years ago and they had to be put into an institution and the whole thing was covered up.

Don't make fun of what you don't understand.

PS: Graveyards are not the only place spirits "hang out." You are more likely to get raped than you are to be molested by spirits.

PPS: The christian religion is full of bullshit don't believe any of it.

Friday the 13th is my girlfriend's birthday and I haven't got her a present yet. That is ten times scarier than a graveyard.

I plan on doing what I always do on Friday the 13th:

I am going to dress up in a slinky blue dress with black high heels, put on a George Bush mask, put on one of those multi-colored clown wigs & run through Wal-Mart screaming "Dick Cheney is chasing me... Dick Cheney is chasing me"
